Happiness and excitement prevailed all over the house as the woman conceived her child. Everyone gives her blessings to have a healthy baby. “May God gives you a baby boy” is the most common blessing everyone gave to a woman. Why not a baby girl?


Ignorant people have a mindset in a way that thinks that women are only meant for marriage. They are considered a burden as they have to pay for a dowry and other expenses. They make her live in their house until she hits puberty and woah she gets married.


If a boy is born into a family, the news is broken to every relative; confectioneries are distributed to everyone they know. They feel so proud as their pathetic brain thinks their son will support them as they grow old. He will earn money and feed them while having a daughter is a disaster for them.


They trained their daughter as robots. She should know how to make a perfect chapati, otherwise, after marriage, she would be an embarrassment to their parents because her in-laws may criticize her for this. She should be professional in cooking, cleaning, and maintaining her household. So that they could make her a perfect product for suiters.


On the other hand, they gave full freedom to their sons, gave them whatever their hearts desired, fulfilled every single need, and give them a lot of money, love, and happiness that a child ever needed. He can go where he wants, and hangouts with friends are not a big deal if you are a boy. They only give their daughter an education because it is now mandatory for marrying into a good household. Higher studies and career options are not available to them. In some lower classes in Pakistan, women didn’t even get an education. Isn’t it pathetic?
